What stops people is rarely what they think it is. Dawn learned that from inside companies. Coaching is what she does about it. She has restructured teams, built the systems that hold a growing business together, delivered news nobody wants, and coached the people who stayed. It all comes down to changing a habit that used to work.
Working with her is warm but it is not comfortable. She asks the question everyone else has been stepping around and she will keep focused on the goals you're setting out to achieve. The change is yours to make. She will walk with you as you go through it.
She holds an MBA from Queen's University and is a certified executive coach trained to the ICF standards. She still runs a fractional HR practice for companies, so the examples she uses happened last month, not last decade.
Outside the practice she coaches an intermediate athletics group for Special Olympics, which is where she is reminded every week that progress belongs to the person doing the work.
